Arena handbook
How Arenas work
Everything you need to know before creating or joining an all-vs-all arena.
1Create or join
The creator chooses a currently active quest, a limit of 2–10 players and a whole A-Point entry. Standard arenas last up to 30 days; fixed and KvK quests manage their own schedule.
2Stake the entry
Every participant must own the required A-Points. Entries use whole A-Points, are deducted immediately and held safely in arena escrow. Joining is final.
3Lock & reveal
On Monday the arena locks, its final participant count sets the payout model and all opponents are revealed.
4Settle the arena
The final ranking is calculated automatically. Winners receive the full escrow pot according to the payout table.
Schedule
Standard arenas start on Tuesday
Standard starts are automatic and cannot be edited. KvK arenas may be created at any time and are started manually by an R4.
- Only eligible alliance members may create, join or predict.
- A member may have only one self-created active arena at a time.
- The creator may edit or delete the arena only while still its sole participant. Deleting it then refunds the entry.
- As soon as the first opponent joins, the settings are locked and the arena can no longer be edited or deleted.
- Created by Saturday 23:59 UTC: starts the coming Tuesday at 00:00 UTC.
- Joining remains open until Sunday 23:59 UTC.
- Monday 00:00 UTC: entries lock, opponents are revealed and Predictions open.
- Monday 23:59 UTC: Predictions close.
- Created on Sunday or Monday: starts on Tuesday of the following week.
- An arena with only its creator at Monday lock is cancelled and the entry is refunded.
- KvK arenas stay open for entries until an R4 enters their KvK dates and starts them. The R4 later ends the arena, enters every result and confirms settlement.
Available goals
Choose how the arena is scored
The dropdown shows all quests currently available for new arenas. Every quest uses one of the scoring rules below.
- Highest A-Point changeEnd balance minus start balance. Every regular reward, manual adjustment and negative change counts. Arena and Prediction entries, refunds and payouts are excluded.
- Most HelpsThe daily Help values already calculated by the Alliance routine are added for every arena day.
- Best Donation RankRuns from Tuesday through Sunday and waits as long as necessary for the official Sunday Donation list. The lowest rank number is best.
- Most Resources GatheredThe creator selects Food, Wood, Stone, Gold and/or Gems, and whether Gold counts ×1 or ×2.
- KvK questsMarauder Points, Troop Training Points, KvK Honor or KP gained in KvK. Members may create these arenas at any time; an R4 starts and ends them and enters the official results.
Gathering reports
Your reports, your responsibility
For resource arenas, the normal amount and green bonus from every valid Gathering Report row are added.
- The English game client is required. Resource types are read from English headings instead of fragile icon recognition.
- Only selected resource types count.
- The gathering timestamp must be inside the arena period.
- Duplicate report rows count only once.
- Reports may be uploaded until 12 hours after the arena ends.
- Only arena participants may upload PNG, JPG or WebP images, up to 12 MB per file.
- Missing or unreadable uploads receive no score.
Payouts
The entire pot goes to the winners
2–3 players1st 100%
4–5 players1st 70% 2nd 30%
6–10 players1st 50% 2nd 30% 3rd 20%
Dead heat: tied players combine and share the prize places they occupy. Payouts use 0.5 A-Point steps. Any indivisible 0.5 remainder is assigned deterministically and fairly between the tied players. The full pot is distributed automatically.
Separate pools: participant entries form the Arena Prize Pool. Prediction stakes form the Prediction Pool. The two pools are never mixed and only the system settles them.
A second way to win
Predict the winner. Win the pot.
You do not have to join an arena to compete for its Prediction Pot. Predictions follow their own schedule, eligibility and payout rules.
